Overview
On this private 8-day tour you travel in your own vehicle with an English-speaking driver, at your own pace and with stops wherever you like. You sleep in charming riads and kasbahs and spend 1 night in a Berber camp among the dunes.

Itinerary
1Day 1Marrakech – Tizi n'Tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
- Pick-up at your riad or hotel and drive over the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m).
- Visit of the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Ouarzazate, the 'Hollywood of Africa', and the Skoura palm grove.
- Road of the Thousand Kasbahs through the Valley of Roses (Kelaat M'Gouna).
- Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in the Dades Valley.
2Day 2Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
- Walk through the Todra Gorges, with rock walls 300 metres high.
- Tinghir and its large palm grove.
- Drive on through Tinejdad and Erfoud, the fossil town.
- Camel ride at sunset through the Erg Chebbi dunes to the camp.
- Berber dinner, drums around the fire and a night in a desert tent.
3Day 3Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
- Sunrise over the dunes and camel ride back.
- Ziz Valley and gorges among palm trees.
- Midelt and the Middle Atlas.
- Azrou cedar forest and Ifrane.
- Arrival in Fez and overnight in a riad.
4Day 4Fez: guided tour of the medina
- Tour with a local guide of Fez el-Bali, the largest medina in the world.
- Blue Gate of Bab Boujloud and the Bou Inania madrasa.
- Al Quaraouiyine university and the Chouara tanneries.
- Artisan workshops and the Merinid Tombs viewpoint.
- Overnight in a riad in Fez.
5Day 5Fez – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
- Visit Meknes and the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
- Drive through the Rif mountains.
- Arrival in Chefchaouen, the blue city.
- Overnight in Chefchaouen.
6Day 6Chefchaouen – Ouazzane – Rabat
- Free morning in Chefchaouen.
- Drive to the Atlantic coast.
- Kasbah of the Udayas and Hassan Tower in Rabat.
- Overnight in Rabat.
7Day 7Rabat – Casablanca
- Drive to Casablanca.
- Visit of the Hassan II Mosque by the ocean.
- Walk along the Corniche and the Habous quarter.
- Overnight in Casablanca.
8Day 8Casablanca – Marrakech
- Drive south.

- Free afternoon on Jemaa el-Fna square.

Absolutely. We can add or remove days, change the order of the stages or choose other hotels.
Is the camel ride included?
Yes, the camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to the camp is included – one camel per person.
What is the desert camp like?
You can choose a standard camp or a luxury camp with private bathroom. Both include dinner, breakfast and music around the fire.
